Going 7-0 down at the start was a shock for V's and maybe due to a lack of concentration or the gap watching Old Ruts vs Haslemere early on.

Ruts had a huge pack and dwarfed Referee Gareth Owen (who reffed all 90 minutes in the sun. Thanks!!)

Some great tackles, a little bit of niggle, controlled aggression, lots of subs and a brace of tries from Joe Vuchetich, Daniel Wellden and Ben Whiteman meant that the day ended of very well.

Glorious sunshine and huge support from the patio really helped the lad have a great day.
