Despite the change of venue and late kick off 16 vandals still made the trip to Farnham and power to glory.

A great team effort for the 16 who travelled topped off by Farnham using both of their squads on a very windy and boggy game in Wrecclesham (always is when we go there!!)

The lads battled really well despite my best efforts to confuse them in the second half where most played out of position. That wont happen again so the scoreboard can keep ticking next time.

You have to remember that you will come up against stronger and stronger opposition and you must make sure you tackle / ruck all of the time. The squad keeps on improving as a whole and unfortunately there is no room for people just to make up the numbers any more. That said I know that you are all capable of playing well and you show that on training nights, you need to step up in a game now.

We need to stick to the game plan and not try and become individuals. At least 4 more tries could have been scored had we played as well as we can. Remember running lines, support, vision and try something different!!!

It is very hard and takes a lot of planning to get the fixtures and the plan the team/squad together and there were a few who didnt give their availability. Tim/Sally are trying very hard to get Pitchero working well but if this is causing you a problem then please let us know. I need to know before Wednesday training who is available for the next game.

We rely heavily on parental involvement to get the players to the games and will be sending round a list so you all have each others details. This could make it easier to take it in turns to drive or car share and make sure the players can make it if they want to.

RANT OVER. Scott has taken some great pictures and as always if you want the originals please contact him.

The lads played well and should be praised for the fact that they kept going to the end. Roll on Grasshoppers in 2 weeks and a trip to Cranleigh for our next league encounter.

Lots to work on Wednesday so please make sure you attend. Sunday will be a light session as quite a few have Rememberance Sunday commitments.

Tries: Dan Wellden 3, Ben Whiteman 2, Joe Collyer, Joe Vuchetich, Marlie Casemore.
