This year’s Weybridge Valkyries annual girl’s rugby festival was nothing short of spectacular! With 300 enthusiastic girls from under 7s to under 14s taking to the pitch, the day was filled with thrilling matches, laughter, and an undeniable sense of camaraderie.
From the moment everyone arrived, the energy was palpable. Young athletes donned their shirts with pride, their smiles shining as brightly as their rugby boots. The festival brought together girls from various teams, fostering friendships and teamwork both on and off the field.

A Day Packed with Action
The festival showcased the incredible talent and spirit of our young players. From the under 7s, who ran with all the joy and enthusiasm of true beginners, to the under 14s, who displayed impressive skills and strategic plays, every match was a celebration of rugby! Cheers and encouragement echoed around the pitches as spectators rallied behind their teams, creating an electric atmosphere.
One standout moment was a nail-biting match between two Weybridge under 10/11s teams, where the ball changed hands multiple times, keeping everyone on the edge of their seats. The excitement was contagious, and the girls left it all on the field!
